Cade Saves Sharks | LIVING SHARKS FILMFEST

Unmasking Monsters Below

Cade is a 14 year old shark conservationist, diver photographer and influencer. For the past 5 years he has focused on helping one of the most feared and misunderstood creatures on the planet, the Shark! Cade started to help sharks at the age of 9. This is when he learned about shark finning and that shark populations all over the world are disappearing at an alarming rate. His passion turned into a journey. He started by creating bracelets that he sells and donates all profits to shark conservation, however, this was only a start. He recognized that not enough was being done to help save sharks. He saw that many people are afraid of these animals due to lack of education, misinformation and media portrayal. Cade decided that he had to do more. He started diving with and photographing sharks at the age of 9. He was on a mission to learn as much as he could, all in an effort to help teach people that sharks should not be feared but should be saved instead.

Cade has been on several international and national expeditions focused on science, research, photography and conservation. He has been on over 70+ shark dives. Cade has spoken in front of the House of Representatives, in Florida, to help ban the shark fin trade. He collaborates with campaigns, companies and organizations in ongoing efforts to help sharks and help educate . He also works with numerous filmmakers, photographers and scientists. UMB is his latest upcoming film. Wherever sharks need help, you will find Cade. Cade’s ultimate goal is to get sharks more protection everywhere. He would love to see a world that has less fear for these animals and more understanding. Follow Cade on Instagram @cadesavessharks - his page is dedicated to saving these important animals.
